How to set up your trinidadusa.net email account using Mozilla Mail
From the menus, select Window > Mail & Newsgroups. If this is the first time this user has done this, a "dialog box should pop up entitled New Account Setup. If this doesn't happen, choose Edit > Mail & Newsgroup Account Settings. Click on "Add Account..."
Select Email Account and click Next.
Next to Your Name, enter your name as you'd like it to appear in email sent by you, e.g.Joseph Schmo.
Next to Email Address, enter your preferred UNet ID or alias prepended to "@trinidadusa.net", e.g.joeschmo@trinidadusa.net.
Select the radio button for POP Server.
Next to Incoming Server, enter mail.trinidadusa.net.
Next to Outgoing Server, enter mail.trinidadusa.net. Click Next.
Next to User Name, enter your username, e.g.joeschmo. Click Next.
Give the account a name. You can accept the default name, probably something like joeschmo@trinidadusa.net. Click Next.
Double check your information and click Finish.
If a dialog box pops up asking if you want to use Mozilla as the default mail application, it is safe to click Yes.
You will probably be prompted for the mail server password. Enter your password. Check the box authorizing Mozilla to remember your password if you don't want to type it every time.
Tweaking the account settings
From the menus choose Window > Mail & Newsgroups
From the menus, now choose Edit > Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings
In the "Account Settings" dialog for your account, uncheck the box for Compose messages in HTML format.
Customize other settings to your taste.
Click on Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP).Uncheck the box next to Use name and password.
That's it. You're done. Enjoy.
